How To Construct Memory Foam Mattress

Memory foam mattress is a Tempurpedic mattress that contains the same benefit as memory foam mattress. These mattresses are temperature-sensitivity, which mold the body against pressure points and it easily conforms the body to provide support and comfort. The Tempurpedic Mattresses are made from very soft material which ensures relieving pressure from the material used. They are high quality and more durable mattress.

Memory foam is made up of visco elastic foam mattress that will essentially be made up of:
  • Memory foam Comfort layer
  • Mattress core
  • Bed Foundation
  • Accessories for added Luxury
Memory Foam Comfort Layer

Always remember that viscoelastic foam is not supportive mattress that is why you can use a 3-inch thick memory foam topper on the top of the mattress core. The visco memory foam topper should be:
  • Open-cell structure which eliminates pressure points
  • High density (should be 5lbs)
  • Sensitivity to body temperature which makes the foam become softer and contours the shape of the body against pressure.
  • Firmness (should be 14lbs)
Mattress Core

The mattress core is very important for a memory foam layer on the top, without a firm and supportive foam underneath it; you keep sinking in until you bottom out. Here's what your memory foam mattress core should be made of:
  • Between 1 and 4 layers of good quality, high-resilience foam of 30-36 ILD firmness.
  • The deeper layers should be thicker, firmer and denser in order to provide better support.
  • Adding layers between the bottom one and the Tempurpedic mattress topper to ensure more delicate, and luxurious feel.
Bed Foundation

The memory foam layer and core are usually enough to make a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Put this layer on top of the bed foundation and raise it 10 inch or more from the floor surface.

Accessories For Added Luxury

Memory foam bed provides little bit luxury support. To add extra padding on the top of the mattress will provide more luxury and comfort for a person, who sleep on that mattress.
